The number of options are astounding. Here's my scenario. I am rebuilding a 1988 Tyee. I want to have an adjustable, air-ride pedestal for all the seats that can adjust somewhere between 13" - 20". I don't seem to have a problem finding pedestals that fit that criteria, but many of them say they have a "B" rating, meaning they can't go over 5 mph. There is only one seat in the boat that will not be used for traveling speeds.
I like the low profile of the 3/4" Pin style, but most of the pedestals say no more than 5 mph. I have no idea what the pros and cons of each are. If anybody has any insight, your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Here are the options I have found for base styles:
Springfield Spring Lock
Springfield Taper Lock
3/4" Pin Threaded
Swivl-Eze Wedge
Swivl-Eze Snap Lock
Swivl-Eze 238 series
