I am looking to treat my boat cover with a waterproof spray. My cover has never been treated as I use to store my boat in a garage, but this year I had to store outside. I plan on just ordering off if amazon but not sure which brand to use. Anybody have a preferred brand to use?

Ayuh,..... Back when I had a sunbrella converible top on my ole tin fishin' barge, I tried various canvas waterproofers,....
Most all of 'em relied on spray silicone as the active agent,.....
So,.... I'd go to my local Napa, 'n buy 100% silicone spray at 'bout 1/2 the price of the canvas sprays, 'n it worked, Perfectly,... No leaks,....

I use a product made for camping canva tents and it works very well and a lot less expansive ($50 CND per gallon)

Instructions say to brush the product, but I remove the roof from the boat, and after washing it, and drying it overnight, I use a spray bottle (pump type) and soak the canva. Works well.
