Which way does the bearings go in?

I just bought all new stuff (axle, hubs, bearing) for my boat trailer. I don't know which way the two bearings are suppose to go into the hub and on which sides. What you see in the photo is half of the stuff I got. I got one seal. Aren't there suppose to be an inner and outer seal? I thought I read that somewhere. Please help.

Can someone post detail step on how to put this together? Also when to add grease and how much. I plan on keeping the bearing buddy from the old trailer. I hope it will fit.

did you get races for the bearings? i dont see them in the pics. 1 seal is correct, its the inner seal. the tapered ends of the bearings go inside towards each other. If you got new bearings, you need new races. and you need to pack the bearings, remove old races, and install new races first.

And trade out those zinc plated nuts for stainless steel, put anti-seize on the bolts...you'll be good to go..

yep, they are. didnt notice it in the first pic. I would maybe get some bearing protectors, like the redeyes or bearing buddies since its all new stuff you are putting in there. Pretty much, every void inside there needs to be filled with grease with no air inside to keep the water out.

So for the inner seal bearings. I assume this is the end toward the axle. I grease up the bearing, put in tapered end toward hub, then place the seal in? Now the seal is also a little funky. Which side of the seal goes toward the bearing? I just don't want to install the seal backwards?

in the 1st pic, the seal is facing the same way it needs to go into the hub. the gold side of the seal should be facing you as your tapping it into the back of the hub.
