Hey guys, I have a part number 18-2100 sierra gimbal bearing I'm installing in a an alpha one gen 2 outdrive. From what i read the dot on the outside face is supposed to line up with the hole for the grease zerk on the outdrive, but on the bearing the hole for the grease to enter is 180 degrees out from dot on the bearing. Do I install it with the dot facing the grease point entrance on the outdrive and spin the compression ring around so the gap is on the grease entrance hole for the bearing?Image.jpg

Usually the dot will end up more in the 10 o'clock position while your lining up the grease hole on the bearing to the grease zerk fitting tube.

Thoroughly have a look through this thread,

Good luck.:)
