Hello everyone. I'm going to be replacing my bellows again on my alpha 1 drive. Last time I did it, it was rather a pain. I'm just curious to know which way everyone replaces their bellows. Do you put them on the transom plate first, or the bell housing first. I believe the last time I connected them and glued them to the transom plate first. Then put the bell housing on. That seemed to be a pain to me. Not sure if the other way around is any easier. Ideas?

Thanks. Pat

First gen or gen II? On my first gen I did the bellhousing for the u-joint bellows first and the transom side for the exhaust bellows.

I install the gimbal side first ,then slide it on the transom.
For the GEN II drives that use a sleeve, the transom side first.
