which year is my force 1992 or 1993???

hey guys im not quite sure what year my force is its a 15 hp with the serial# 0E057093 if anybody could tell me that would be great

99% of the time the year is in the serial # the 93 in yours is the year. Charlie

Sorry to disagree with you charlie, but this is not the case with the post merc Forces. Otherwise one of my Forces would be a 2009 model, and the other would be a 1955 model, neither of which exist. It may be a '93, but it is just a coincidence that "93" appears in the serial number. <br /><br />This series of serial numbers was used from approx '89 thru '95. I can only narrow this motor down to the 92-94 era.<br /><br />Sorry Merc16. You may have to take it into a dealer to get a definitive answer. <br /><br />Are you trying to identify so you can order parts?

yes guys i need to know the year for a new exaust cover gasket. it went, and got some water in the bottom cylinder a common problem i heard. hey roscoe, would there be a difference in that gasket for a 92 or a 93?????
