Forecast said north wind 20mph all day - but I went fishing anyway - forecast was right - no bites by 10:30 I was ready to call it quits - but between me and the launch theres a huge flock of seagulls, circling and diving - had my 25-fish limit by noon. Would have kept fishing but my arms were just too tired from reeling in fish.

You won't believe this - I got 3 fish on one cast. Set the rod down & tossed the lure overboard while putting a fish in the livewell - not enough line for it to go a foot deep - picked the rod back up there's a fish on! And again! One cast, three fish!

The wind never let up - it's amazing how much more tolerable it is when the fish are biting! :D

yup, Joe Pool Lake - they are stacked up in there right now, outside the state park head north and look for 21 to 26 foot of water.

fishing in Wisconsin - sounds great in the summertime - but 25 is about as many as I can stand to clean in a day anyway. ;)

Careful, might turn into fishing elbow, or carpel fishing wrist. :D :D :D

Days like that, give you something to talk about, during the slow ones. :)
