as title states..it runs good 74 6 hp fisherman.pic is fuzzy but u can see it..caused by what?

Prime suspect is the float and inlet needle not shutting off fuel when the float bowl is full. Could be as simple as a spec of debris blocking the needle or as bad as a sunk float.

its a rebuilt carb..needle was sticking and clicking when i had carb off also wants to die but when u pump ball it stays running bad fuel pump?

Looks like some one has some bad gas. Time to break out the mason jar and fill here up with the gas from the fuel line at the carb. See what you get. It might have separated and picked up a ton of water. You running ethenol fuel?

yep...hate it...worked as lawn care pro and it tore up our 2 stroke equipment
