white smoke coming from flame arrestor hoses

This is my third boat but first I/O and I'm totally clues the motor is a 4.3 vortec I think its a 1997 but may be newer my question is I'm getting a little exhaust smoke coming from the two hoses that connect to the flame arrestor its definently exhaust and not water vapor the boat runs great idles smooth good oil pressure everything seems right but this any feedback would be great thanks

Welcome to I boats! That is normal. The motor is ingesting crankcase oil fumes back through the carb.

Normal on engines without a PCV valve, as long as it's just a little and not excessive. The hoses are called crankcase breathers.

If it gets excessive, it indicates blowby on the piston rings.

If it looks bad you can run a compression test to see if there is a problem.
