hey guys just got a 1995 stingray n very clean condition the color is white but when i took out the stripes i saw that the original color was more bright white. so i want to know what can i do to make the boat the same bright whte color. sandpaper then polish? just polish? what kind of polish? thanks alot guys

Gell coat fades dark.

Sand until uniform color.

The Festool Titan 2 paper and RO150FEQ is a great tool for this job. This will provide a quick uniform mirror finish.

An alternative is to hand-sand. I use 400 and progress to 2,000, then compound, then polish.
