Who hates the new site?

Me.

I don't care for it (Hate was too strong) and may not be posting here any longer.

Size can be fixed I know but to post I have to change from HTML to Plain? Thats just plain silly.

I don't hate it, but still think it was better before. I am willing to try it out though.....................

There are things other that format that will keep me from posting here. There are other places I prefer to go to chat.

I think it's ok. It's going to take some tweaking on iBoats' part, to get everything setup right. But I don't think there is anything wrong with bbBoard.

Disable WYSIWYG and there is a button that says "Toggle Mode". Can't reply in that "mode" . . .

I couldn't reply until I disabled WSIWYG or whatever..don't even know what the hell it is, and now it gone...had some font options , but I could NOT post. I got a headache.from this. Bill Gates lives not far,...think I'll go over there and beat the living daylights out of him for starting this crap

Stop whining. It is a FREE forum and the techs are working on it. Geez, they've even come in here and apologized for not fixing it fast enough. Maybe they should shut it down for a few more days and put us all on a courtesy hold until we have an atiitude adjustment.

Hate for me is and was a strong word. Mom had a back hand with a lot of power whenever I used it. I was taught to say it in other words. Such as I don't care for, I don't like it as much, etc.

iboats has come a long way in 5 1/2 years. I wasn't too trhilled about the changes, but like everything else, I have to roll with the changes as well.

Just like my boat, I don't like the things that go wrong, but I have to deal with it...................SS

I certainly find some things confusing, as in I can only write in this box in "Plain", not bbCode or HTML, but no problem, i will perservere and get there some how.
Change happens all the time so it is no great deal.
So think about it Realgun, its the people on this board that matters, not the frustrations we experience in operating our posts.

I agree with SS Mayfloat about the word hate. However, I may be using it here very soon. Hasn't anyone learned the fact, "If it ain't broke, it don't need fixin'."
Just like work, one more time saving,labor saving procedure and I'm outta there!!

We don't like change - resist it, actually. Some change is bad, some neutral, and some it good. In this change I have found a lot of neat features (but you have to explore to find them). I like the layout of the old forum better, but this one is GETTING faster, and isn't as bad as I get used to it.

Shucks, it even has a spell check - now all I have to do is use it! HA!

WYSIWYG is a part of the software that I think is not needed. It stands for What You See Is What You Get.

If everyone would disable that below the reply box, it would be better for you.

I prefer the old version, but will adapt to this. I agree that some sort of warning would have been nice, it rather shocking the first day.

Thanks again to the staff for doing their best with a difficult situation.

I like the old look better and I like the way you can see 50-60 post on the same thread on one page. Now you have to flips through the pages. This is the first time I was able to post since last Friday.:/
