I have a motorguide 1996 brute 756 trolling motor with a 12/24v toggle switch on the foot pedal. The motor used to work on the 12 or the 24 v setting, but after a real hard day on the motor(highest speed and 24v setting for a long while), the 24v setting doesn't work any more. I think all the amps burned out the switch.

I want to replace the switch with one that can handle 40 amps. Can anyone recommend a good switch/brand/supplier?

Thanks in advance

Why don't you first determine if its the switch.
