Re: Who Proudly Fly's the American Flag on the Boat??
I fly mine on the bow rail, up on the pulpit.
I think the only regulation (or at least proper etiquette) is to fly it higher than any other flag. Mine sits approx 4" higher than the Jolly Roger that I also fly.
Re: Who Proudly Fly's the American Flag on the Boat??
My boat came with a flag, but the PO took the flag post holder off. I tried locating one that will work with the post I have, and no such luck. I want to get it back where it was!

Thanks to all who have responded to DDRIECK's post. No matter what your beliefs are, we need more support for the young men and women giving their lives for us to enjoy our freedoms !!
Re: Who Proudly Fly's the American Flag on the Boat??
I fly the flag at the highest point on my boat. Top of the wake board tower. Not sure if it is in a regulation spot or not, but that is where I will continue to fly it. I want everyone on the lake to see it standing tall and watching over my boat.
Re: Who Proudly Fly's the American Flag on the Boat??
I fly the Stars and Stripes where it should be based on my situation and that is on the bow. I fly the Canadian flag where it should be also and that is on the stern, port side.
This is international flag etiquette. Country of ships registry on stern, and flag where ship is visiting on bow.
