The boat, the house, the golf cart, the slade, and my lucky fishin' hat.

Wouldn't consider casting off lines and getting underway without showing the colors !! Did it for 22 years professionally, no stopping now !!

Once I rig a line on my spreader block (sailboat), I'll be flying one too. :)

I do! 12"x18" off the stern. I also have an Anchor flag on the bow. Flags are fun! :D

I fly mine on the bow rail, up on the pulpit.

I think the only regulation (or at least proper etiquette) is to fly it higher than any other flag. Mine sits approx 4" higher than the Jolly Roger that I also fly.

That has the US Power Squadron's guidelines.

I do, too. I also fly the Palmetto (SC) state flag on the same pole, below Old Glory. I need to get a pic of the pair to post.

Re: Who Proudly Fly's the American Flag on the Boat??

My boat came with a flag, but the PO took the flag post holder off. I tried locating one that will work with the post I have, and no such luck. I want to get it back where it was!

I fly the flag at the highest point on my boat. Top of the wake board tower. Not sure if it is in a regulation spot or not, but that is where I will continue to fly it. I want everyone on the lake to see it standing tall and watching over my boat.

I fly the Stars and Stripes where it should be based on my situation and that is on the bow. I fly the Canadian flag where it should be also and that is on the stern, port side.

This is international flag etiquette. Country of ships registry on stern, and flag where ship is visiting on bow.

Thanks kailec00. The only regulations I know of is that the National Ensign be flown higher than any other flag.

Very respectfully,
Steve
