Does anyone know of anybody in the Denver area that rebuilds carbs? I have torn it apart twice and I still get gas leaking into the carb through the venturis when I am not cranking the engine. It coughs a couple of times and then seems to flood out. Once it casught on fire but i got it out quickly.

Sounds like you either have the float level set wrong or the inlet needle and seat are not closing. Don't get mad at me. Do you have the inlet needle installed with the tapered tip pointing toward the seat? You would not be the first to get it backwards. When you put the carb back together, tip it upside down and blow into the fuel inlet fitting. If air passes through you still have something wrong as the float should fall downward to close the needle and seat. If you can't blow into the fitting, you have it right.
