Ok,
Here is the problem bought a new used boat a 24Ft cuddy about 6,000lbs with a double axle trailer the problem is I did not notice on the trailer only had one guide rail on each side but only the metal beam not bunks or anything, so here is my dilema having custom rails bulit would be hundreds... the frame is big 3in by 5in and I'am new to a boat of this size I don't think pvc guide rails would be safe especially on a windy day I found a company on the internet that sells 7 1/2 ft complete rails fully assembled with carpet but only 1 1/2 in support beams. Does anyone have the same problem? who on the internet sells these.

Thanks again

I would just purchase some square tubing, and cut it to length, and the right angle you need to clear your beam. Then take it to a muffler/welding shop, and have them weld them to the trailer. Then just take a 2x6, cover it with indoor/outdoor carpet, and bolt it to the tubing.

The welding work shouldn't cost you much. If you know someone who can weld, they'll probably do it for a 6-pack of their favorite brew. :D
