Guessing 2000#, all included.

Looks like a steal for $900.00. The engine alone is worth twice that.

Could your BMW move it? Likely.

Would I use it to tow downhill? Not likely :)

I agree with DJ, if everything checks out on the boat and motor, that is a heck of a deal.

Its the 3rd time hes posted, he started at 2500, now at 900 for 3 days and its still for sale... I called him, he had more then enuf answers for everything from how he redid the boat, to services the motor had just before he bought it (less then a year ago, it was completely rebuilt)... Just looks to be to much for me to chew.

wow what a deal.

i would feel guilty everytime i went out in it.........but i think i could live with myself.

wish i lived closer........but of course if i did it wouldnt still be for sale.

you could buy a truck for 2 or 3000 to haul it and still come out ahead.......

At that price you could buy it, pay him rent and re-list it. All kidding aside, I would not try to pull that rig with your car, I have seen way too many accidents on the highway from combinations just like what you are talking about.

According to my old NADA book, the boat weighs 850. The evinrude motor weighs 288, and the trailer can't weigh over 300 so you are no more than $1500 lbs.

I agree with the others that you should upgrade the trailer.

Boat Sold, so i baught this one, and am going to replace the lower unit.

http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/boa/955602743.html

( I had previously purchased this boat for 700, but owner agree'd i could take it back if i found any issues with motor, since he had no water tank... i took it to get inspected, boat checked out great, lower unit had huge dent on front, and uneven propeller shaft... said lower unit needs to be inspected if no replaced, and they wanted rape + 50 bucks to do it... so i found some good, preinspected lower unit on ebay for under 300, so i'm gonna get it, and put it in, and rock the water ! Motor leak down came back at 15%, and i talked him down to 600.00.. So i'm super excited !)
