hi all. I have a 2-blade prop with its shear pin on the front side of the prop rather than the normal, backside location. When I got it, the PO was using a nail as a "shear pin" to hold it in place. I obviously need something better than a nail, but I can't see how it would work. What is to keep it from just falling out? The nail has a head on it, which helps to keep it from falling out in one direction, but if you flip the prop upside down the head of the nail can no longer keep the pin from falling out. Friction helps to keep it in place a bit, but not very well. Any ideas? Here's pic. I hope it helps.
