Hi there, I'm thinking the reasoning may possibly be an possible oversight of there being multiple threads or posts for the same topic as its preferred there only be one topic/post per specific issue.

In looking back over your recent posts, I haven't really noticed multiple postings regarding your 'Mercruiser 260 Backfire Through Exhaust' with possibly the exception of your Carbed Mercruiser 260 5.7L Missing Above 4000 RPMs that seemed to had been resolved? But maybe the issue is back again?

With that mentioned, at this point I'm not really seeing any big issues to iboat's guidelines of not letting your thread to commence onward.
