Most covers are more difficult to snap-on when the temps begin to cool. I've found some snaps can be nearly impossible to snap-on past late October here in the upper midwest. What ambient are we talking about here? Sometimes, it's a two-man job to snap them this time of year. One person "stretches" the cover while the other snaps them... Good luck and sorry I'm not more help!!!

josh;i dont know if it will help you but what i found on my old bayliner bow cover, and sea ray mooring cover, and bimini. you need to start in the center, front works best for me. you need to snap on one side and then cross to the other being sure to keep the same distance on each side. even if you have to walk from one side to the other only snaping one snap at a time. this is where it's nice to have 2 peeps.
all the covers and tops i have are tight enough that if you try to do one side and then go down the other by the time you are 3/4 down the last side and back you cant pull enough slack to snap the last snaps
this is why keeping the snaps fastened even works. your not trying to pull all the tension on the cover at once.
