Well, since I finally got my drinking under control (hi, my name is SoulWinner and I'm a drunk......clap....clap....clap clap clap clap) I have been so much more productive 
Today Dee asked me to look at a wall socket that wasn't working. I plugged in my test light and nothing. Hmmmmm. Pilled the socket and test the leads on the romex, nothing. Hmmmmm. "Hey Dee, turn all those switches on hun" Viala! Juice!!<br /><br />Now the stupid thing, the switch is literally two steps from the socket. Now al I need is to plug in a touch lamp the outlet to complete the stupidity of this arrangement.<br /><br />Or better yet, maybe I'll pull the switch, wire nut the splice together, and fill in the hole.
