will 1988 115 trim and tilt fit 1984?

will a 1988 inline 115 trim and tilt fit a 1984 in line 115 ? the bottom bracket bolt is 7 1/2 inches on both thanks

Some used Eaton and others Prestolite pumps but as a unit they should interchange with each other
