Will a 155 HP commercial V6 lower work with a V4 powerhead?

I'm looking at changing lowers to get the 15 spline lower shaft and I can get a good deal on a 155HP lower. will it work with a crossflow V4?

Stern Drive & Mercury, Johnson, Evinrude, Force, Chrysler, Tohatsu, Nissan, Ya. according to this site no i used them last year to replace my lower unit very good site

Before you jump into this purchase, you need to do some homework. Most commercial engine lower units have significantly different gear ratios than the normal consumer lower units.They are made to push heavy loads, so they may have odd gear ratios and their size can vary. If you do get it to fit, you may be unhappy with how it performs. You'll likely get into really odd prop pitches in order to make it run somewhat normally.
