Will a 1982 lower unit work on a 1990 evinrude engine?

Hey guys,
I am looking to buy a used lower unit for my 1990 175hp evinrude (E175STLESE). The lower unit is for a 175hp evinrude engine but the year is 1982 and my engine is 1990. Will these two be compatible?

Ive tried doing some research but haven't really found any definitive answers.
