The tilt &trim unit is off a 1989 Mercury 115 HP (oil injected) Motor. My trim pump and motor went our on my 1987 Merc 175 HP black max....They look identical. The only diff is one has a sort of square Motor and the other is Round, Also my 175HP has 3 wires from motor (Blue,Green,Black) up, down and Ground?The 115HP trim motor has 2 wires (Blue,Geen) up and down. Can someone help me out? How does the 2 wire trim unit ground itself? I really would appreciate it.
