Will a 9.5 X 8, 14 spline Mercury prop fit a Nissan NS18E2 (1999 18hp) motor? Would it essentially be the equivalent of the OEM 234 cm X 999 cm (9.2 X 7.8) prop?

If you look up props here on iboats for a 20 merc and a 18 Nissan.
the numbers are the same the merc was a 4 stroke and the Nissan a 2 stroke.
As far as the actual sizes they appear to be close enough you probably couldn't tell the difference.

I did the same search/cross-referencing and thought that it would fit and came to the same conclusion. I needed some reassurance from the "experts". Thanks for the confirmation.
