Will a SE106 outdrive hold up to the hp of a stock 350CI 5.7L

::I found a 1980 Sea Ray 18 foot open bow for a couple hundred it has a 305 in it now and runs ok and the outdrive works good as well. My plan is to pull engine and outdrive so I can put new stringers, transom, and deck. I have a 350 to rebuild petty much stock with a 4bbl. So the question is will the SE 106 lower unit be capable of handling that amount of HP????? Thank you in advance for all of your help:joyous::joyous::joyous::joyous::joyous:

Should do fine. I heard 300hp on an Alpha 1 is about max.

Yep - it will easily handle a stock 350. Especially on an 18 ft boat.
