Will a Yamaha 9.9 prop fit a Mercury 9.9

I have a chance to buy a brand-new 4 blade prop off a yamaha 9.9 with 8 splines diameter 9.25 Solas YA410
Will it fit mercury 9.9 that has 8 splines and a diameter 9.25


I heard engine parts can be switched like a carb ,but not sure of the lower leg.

We'll assume they are 2 stroke to 2 stroke.iboats prefix part numbers are different. Merc is 1113-093-10,
Yamaha is 3113-093-10 I couldn't tell you the significance.

As long as the Merc shaft is 8 tooth it will work. That is a Yamaha(Japan Origini) Merc leg and has the same shaft as a Yamaha.
