No need to get crazy with all that stuff when all you need is a little 3m restore and wax. Works wonders on hulls and paint.

Wood boat. Just need to nail up a piece of plywood from the inside, smooth it out with a few pounds of wood putty, brush paint the spot and he'd be good to go!

If it is anything like an antique or classic car, probably not much. I had my stuff insured through Grundy and it was about 1/4 of what my regular car insurance company cost me for the same vehicle, but for agreed value, not just what the insurance company says its worth.

Probably true. Guess they don't figure you would stick it in front of a runaway jetski.

In July I was at the vintage race weekend at Roadamerica. A good friend of mine from Wisconsin drove his recently restored MGA to the track. As he was leaving Friday afternoon to go to Elkhart Lake for the Concours d'Elegance, some guy came flying over the hill and nailed him just ahead of the driver's door. Pretty much wiped the front end. No major injuries, thankfully.
