Will my 150 hp controls work on my 90 hp?

So i blew up my 86 150 hp johnson on my 17 ft Doral. While I am in the process of rebuilding the 150 I thought i might be able to put my 86 90 hp evinrude on that hull so I won't miss any of our short boating season. Are the electrical and throttle controls the same for each motor or will i have to use all my 90 hp controls on the hull? thanks for the help.

yep both are red plug motors should be plug and play
