Will Sierra Fuel filter fit?

Years ago, I bought Sierra fuel filter part number: 18-7852-1 (which came with Sierra 18-7845 / Long canister) from iboats store. It worked great for 2 years and its filter now needs replacement.

I recently bought "at 1/3 cost" Sierra 18-7945 canister. Was told "it should fit".

From your experience, will this Sierra 18-7945 canister fit this specific Filter housing kit?

Note: I'd confirm fitting myself but my boat with OMC 115 HP boat is too deep in storage and it's 5 hour drive away.

The 7945 is almost a 1/2 inch longer then the 7944 and both will fit the same housing. Both have same diameter, seal and thread

It will fit, the only difference is the 18-7945 is a 10 micron filter and the 18-7852 is 21 microns.
