Will These Parts Interchange

I have a 1993 225 HP Vindicator, 2 cylinders went down on it a week or so back so its shot. I replaced the lower unit on this engine in February (2016). I have located a 2003 225 HO with a bad lower. Both engines are 20 inch shafts. Will the new lower unit I recently installed on my 1993 work on the 2003
