will this 13x14 prop off my OMC Cobra fit my 233 Merc?

I have been running the other thread where my 78 wellcraft isnt getting above 3k rpms, previous owner threw a 188hp 302 where there used to be a 233hp 351, Will the Cobra prop of my bayliner fit on my mercury 233 stern drive for testing purposes, seems the 13x14 would be small enough to make up for the gear ratio's to see what happens.

The splines on the OMC prop are different.

What pitch are you running on the Bayliner now?

The bayliner has the 13x14 on it

The Cobra prop should be 19 spline and the Merc will be 15. You can have it rehubbed to fit the Merc.

well no I wanted to just see if this smaller diameter and pitch would get my speed and rpms up for testing purposes, since my drive gearing is off, would a prop this size get my rpms more proper from my 15x16 4 blade that's on there now?

Is the prop on your Cobra have a 13 spline hub?

I can't say I know, I have never looked, I was just posting mainly for if trying a prop that small would be a good diagnosis for my problem
