These carbs are for sale on ebay. I would like to rebuild my carbs but frankly am a little afraid to do so. If I could buy these, rebuild them and then install them in my motor, Iwould feel more confortable about doing it. I could take my time that way. My motor is a '94 115hp Johnson. V4 crossfire. Model number J115TLERC. The carbs on ebay are from a model E115-TLCIM.

Are they interchangeable?

I have ordered a parts catalog so hopefully I won't have this problem in the future. I will then have two manuals (OEM and Selco) and a parts catalog and hopefully that will help me get smarter.

Sorry to be a pest and thanks in advance for all the help.

Mirko

Mirko,
Just off the top of my head...Your motor has 4 individual carbs?Right?
I believe the older motor has 2 two barrel carbs.
Sorry but it won't work.
rebuilding your 4 carbs is not that hard.I suggest you get the factory manual for this job.
Go step by step....and it can be a two day project.Shops do it in less than 3 hours.Remove one carb at a time, rebuild it,and then go to the next one.By the way...float level..invert the carb and make sure float is level with the carb body.
DHPMARINE

DHPMARINE

Yes they will work. The carbs on e-bay are from an 1981 V4 crossflow motor which is basically the same as your V4 crossflow.

What is the difference between cleaning those vs yours? I would sure rather clean a set that I know rather than an unknown set that Ive never seen.

Good luck!
