Will this fit???

I've got a 1985 Mercruiser 170hp engine in my boat and am in need of an exhaust manifold, it seems that they are in short supply from several nights of research but I found someone who has an aluminum exhaust manifold from a 1990 Mercruiser 170hp. Will this fit my engine? The guy lives 6 hours from me so I really cant match it up personally.

Slightly OT - What was the lsat year Merc made that giant 4 cyl?

I'm really new to this boat/engine so I really dont know much about the years the engine was made, I've really enjoyed the performance of the engine until this past weekend when I realized that the exhaust manifold was toast...

Don will know what Year that Mercruiser threw in the towel,+ Quit the 470 Project............

I was thinking 87 or 89.........

From what I've researched the final year was 89 which if I'm not mistakened it was rated at 185hp.

I was thinkin' '89 also, but when he mentioned a 1990 190 exhaust manifold, it got me wondering.

Might be a 1990 Boat with a 1989 Drive line.....
