What problem are you trying to solve?
Before adding a foil you should be sure you have done as much as possible with trim, weight distribution and engine performance.
For instance if you can raise the motor 1 inch you could gain 1 or 2 mph.
The foil should be considered a last resort and keep in mind it can create problems on some installations.
Under ideal conditions it will plane easier and stay on plane with less power.It will however sapp some top end speed.

Hi thanks for the replies. I have done some research and found that i just didnt have enough weight in back of boat. Im not too heavy and i have been testing with an almost empty gas tank. I do however have to keep my motor on the highest setting otherwise the lower i set it the more splashback i get on the transom. i thought hydrofoil would help prevent this. But before i purchase one i will do some playing around, if anything i need to lower my motor an inch. i will post my results. thanks

Yes it should be fine, I have those exact ones on a 2-cyl 25 hp merc ... works great ...
