Will this johnson manual work for me??

I found a 1985 Johnson 150 service manual, my question is will this work for me i have a 1984 Johnson 150 VRO,, from what ive been reading these motors are very similar?? Would any other years work to? thanks

Probably not much difference in the manuals but have you checked Ebay?

Yes, ive checked ebay and i know there on there, what im asking is what years manual i can get say a 85 or 87,,,,or are the motors somewhat different, so should i look for the 84. ?

Really??? Know one knows what years of this motor are common? Im sure alot of them are,,, but say i buy a manual for a 82, and come to find out in 83 they made major changes,, just want to be sure before i buy something,,,,and i dont know...
