I have a 15' 1981 Rinker bow rider with a 1981 70 hp mercury ob that is in need of major repair I have access to a 1965 75 hp ob evinrude that runs strong I can get the motor along with the boat 16'1959 glasspar marathon for $500.00 my question is will this 1965 evinrude motor work on the 1981 rinker?

mercrude <br />Can't think of any reason it wouldn't. Is the shaft length the same as the Merc. and are there working controls with it?
