ok i have a 2.5L alpha 1, wot is 4800 one person, rpms too high, book says 4300 max, i have a useing a 15x17 prop on it now, i was told if i use a 14 1/4x19 four blade prop my rpms will be around 4300to 4500 still giveing good hole shot and about the same top end, i aint good at math is this the way i should go

Yes that seems reasonable.While a 4 blade my help low end performance it will usually reduce max rpm and speed.
Typically 1" increase in pitch will reduce rpm about 200.a 1"decrease will raise rpm 200.
19" 3 blade will reduce rpm about the same as the 4 but may increase speed slightly.
