I have a 1973 evinrude 50hp mechanical shift. Will this motor in the ad work for a lower unit swap? are they compatable. I'm gonna offer alot lower than what he is offering

My motor is a 73' should i just assume the 75' is the same?

just watch out, because 72 and 73 were important years... alot of 72 was electric shift then they went to mechanical for 73...
