So, I started a thread in the Reinell section.....What is it? (pics) and now I have some more meaty questions. As I mentioned there, I want to swap in a 4.3L V6. According to the charts I've seen, the stock ratio is 1.98 with the 120 Merc.(I know that what I actually have could be different, I don't have it in my yard for a couple days). Now, according to those charts, a ratio of 1.84 is appropriate/stock for a 4.3/V6.
Is the 0.14 difference going to be an issue? I am learning a lot here on this forum, haven't come across the answer to this one though.
