Windage tray/oil pan baffle and oil pan capasity ?

Installing a re man 350 /5.7lL . The previous motor was also a reman and had a windage tray, how important is it? wouyld I be OK without?
Also I have a 4QT oil pan. Should I go to 6QT???

How do you know your new engine doesn't have the windage tray? If you know because you removed the oil pan and looked, then simply swap over the tray from the old engine to the new.

By the way - I like your picture. I think you're missing part of your cylinder and other important parts. Maybe that's why it stopped running? :D :D
