I've tinted flat windows, no problem, I can do it without a bubble.

...I've got a '95 Galant, and the back window has a pretty good curve to it.
Called 2 Tint Shops, $110 just for that one window!

So, I will do it myself, as I can do the entire car for $20 in material.

What are the tips to doing a curved window?

2 pieces? Heat Gun?

ndemge, i've tried the back also, what a pain, i think they sell a kit for rear windows it's more than one piece i believe it' s strips of tint which would be fun to match up together. I had same problem, they wanted 100 bucks just for the rear.

There is a method that uses heat guns (anl lot's of practice) that will incorporate a single sheet of film for a curved back window. Around here a 3 window tint job cost about $200 so I would imagine 110 is about right.

I would spend the $$$ considering the defrost wires on the glass.

Bob

Learn by doing.... :) That's how the guy at the tint shop learned.

I just picked up a parts car, will try it on it's window first to get the technique down.

I've have used over lapping strips of tint on a car with rear defroster. I thought you be able to see it from the out side but you couldn't tell. My friend used a similar technique to wall papering, overlap cut and pull out the scrapes- looked really professional. If you have rear defroster strips I would not use the second. What ever you do I hope it looks cool
