A couple months ago I bought a 1991 Sea Nymph 220GLS. After I bought it I purchased an old sale flyer from Ebay that had a picture of that model boat with an optional hardtop. I didn't know they even made them with a hardtop and ever since then I've been obsessing about it. I also know the windshield is different too.

I'm going to have to have a new standup cover made for my boat since the one that came with it is toast but I've toyed with the idea of converting the one I have to a hardtop but I'm afraid to see what the price might be plus finding somebody to do it is a factor.

Well, this weekend while searching around on Craigslist I found the same model boat as mine that has the hardtop with the different windshield. Even though it would have been a 7-8 hour drive one-way to see it I was deteremined to get it but after looking at the pictures the seller sent me I realized the only benefit I would get from that boat over the one I already have was just the hardtop and windshield plus the price was double what I paid for the first one. I offered to buy the top and windshield from the seller and also exchange the lower-profile windshield I have and deliver and pickup and he said he would keep it in mind but I'm not very optimistic about it.

My question is does anybody on here know a good place where I might could find that windshield and hardtop? I know these model boats are more popular around the Great Lakes area and I'm just certain that what I'm looking for is languishing in a boat yard up there. Or does anybody have any experience in converting to a hardtop that could give me some advice.
