Windshields

I have a 1990 17' vanguard boat with a walk through windshield. One of the screws that is in the Frame came out so the windshield came apart. I put it to geather many times but the screw keeps coming out. I tried a little bigger screw,but the same thing happens. I can't go with a bigger screw because it then hits the glass in the frame. Any ideas how I could fix this

Can you use a rivet? The only other thing I can think of right now it some type of thread locker..like loctite.

can you fill the screw hole with epoxy and then drill a small hole and thread it back in? got a picture?
