tell your local dealer you wish to order a K&L tool number, this will go through K&L not yamaha, you want the diagnostic test lamp. I dont have the part number here but I have posted it many times.
try a forum search on my posts.
if you have access to a mercury f115 manual from about 1999 to about 2005(when yamaha built the powerheads) then there is a diagram on how to make one.

Rodbolt, someone who has the manual said they only show the wire colors and don't say how to make the light. If I get the info could you tell me how it's done?
