well had weak spark on my no 4 cylinder so doing some digging I replaced the stator and trigger, helped the other 5 spark doubled strength but 4 was the same, did the coil flip and found the problem, new coil in today and almost 2 inches of arc on all 6, so I am very happy and off to the water in the morning, and all for well under $300.00 so even with the mis diagnosis it was still cheaper to do it myself and have a new stator and trigger that were original and the wires were a little chewy, boatfix.com sells CDI Stators and triggers cheaper than anybody even ebay, just a tip

owe and pulling the flywheel took all of about 40 seconds with my impact at 80lbs, so no biggie there, don't know why all the mechanics are so intune to scare you to change the stator, its only a 15 minute job :)

happy boating and back for the season, next week offshore for the king fish
