on my Stoker/eliminator i suffered a crack in the side of my winshield. i contacted stoker customs to buy a new one, due to the boat being a 89 they no longer have the mold. i believe it is a polycarbonate material. does anyone know of a product available(Glue or something) that could help me fix it. or of a shop that might be able to.

Re: winshield repair/replace

Look in the yellow pages under "plastics - suppliers and fabricators" and contact them. The few I spoke to in my area all had made replacement windshields for boats. I bought a sheet of polycarbonate and made my own. Wasn't too hard and inexpensive. I don't know what your windsheild is shapped like, but mine was the '60s style wrap around. I used 1/8" thick and cold bent it into the old frame. Polycarbonate can be bent cold without fear of it breaking, and cuts easy, but scratches easy too. If you're boat is fast, you should consider a thicker sheet so that it doesn't distort at high speeds. My boat tops out at 29mph so 1/8 is fine for my use.

Anyway, just some thoughts.

Good luck,
Mark.
