winter project

This is my first project a 1987 Daytona sprint 12'6". I picked it up this past summer. The thing weighed a ton so I cut a small piece out of the floor and it was soaking wet. When I started the project and cut the floor out it was hard to take out. I wanted it in one piece so I could use it as a template for the new floor. The transom is wet also. I wish it was rotten it would have come apart easier. I need to make the next one thicker, this one was only an inch thick. The stringers don't look rotted but i'm replacing those also.
