Thought you might be interested in my contraption. Built with 1.5" PVC to hold up to the Michigan winter. Still need to cover the I/O

Re: Winter storage

Like the idea, I didnt have to winterize but would like to do the same just to get the rain water out from the boat cover, its looks like a 19 footer, right? How much you spent on PVC TUBES?

Re: Winter storage

I put my boat in a portable garage. Just gotta keep an eye on the snow build-up on the roof so it doesnt collapse. We had that happen with our old boat after a huge snowstorm that dropped almost 3 feet in 24 hours.

Re: Winter storage

Not sure on how much I have spent. Originally built it 4 years ago or so for my smaller boat I sold (15ft). Bought the 18ft this year and have expanded the frame by adding into it. Probably maybe $60 or so into the frame. The joints such as the angles and stuff have the most $ into them.

Very solid for the money.
