Im new at volvo with a carb. At one time I had a hotrod with an elec fuel pump and carbs. which i only drove in the summer. at the end of summer for storage, i would turn off the elec. fuel pump then let the motor run till the carbs went dry. If i didnt the fuel would dry in the carb and plug the jets and passages. So my question is will i have the same "fuel drying, plug passages problem in the volvo carb? Will stybil fuel additive prevent this? Is there a way to turn off the fuel pump and run the carb dry? What do other carb. people do?
